Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot, Drink up, me 'hearties, yo ho. We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot, Drink up me 'hearties, yo ho." The glasses clinked and the laughter continued as Arianna ran across the bar singing the old seafaring tune louder than the lot of them. She smiled brightly a the crowd around her as she stood upon the barkeeps table as she did every night and start her songs to make them men buy her more drinks and therefore make her more money. Besides, the drunker they got, the more they lost to her at cards and dice and the less they were able to notice her cheating.
Laughing playfully Arianna bent down and poured some rum in a man's mouth, reaching behind him and pulling a watch from his back pocket as he got an eye full of her chest. She knew that it looked like pure silver at the very least and would fetch a pretty penny around the port. Something to live off of at least until the next rum ship came in. She would do very nicely with about ten or eleven more of the same sort of course, but that couldn't be helped. It was the luck of the draw and the luck of the sea that gifted her with her pickings, she would just have live with that as she had for some time now.
The rum burned her throat slightly as she polished off the rest of the bottle as the men sang another refrain of the song and then cheered for her as she broke the empty bottle on some bloke's head who was trying to look up her skirts. She smiled prettily and kicked the man's body over and off of the stool, using that, and the hands offered to her to jump down from the counter top as the rest begged her for a little of the man's luck and another song maybe a dance. "Gentleman! I am not entirely sure I've had enough to drink for that kind of talk!"
They laughed and a crowd shoved their way to the bar to fill their orders and offer her a drink. Arianna mearly smiled and flirted, pretending to be a little more tipsy than she really was. It was a night like any other and a trick that worked every time. The thought made her smile as she drank down another glass of rum with the simple and truest toast she knew. "To freedom gentlemen!"
To freedom for tonight anyway. She wasn't sure if she quite had anymore freedom after the deal she had made with Tia Dalma. She would be sailing under a ressurected captain with a cursed crew as soon a she was ordered. She would have to be careful, and follow instruction. That was something Arianna could hardly call freedom; to what purpose she was doing this, she didn't quite know yet, but at the same time, it seemed the prizes she could recieve and the answers she could get would outweigh the danger. Besides, she had built up quite a tolerance for careful action in this bar and knew how to get herself out of trouble in a pinch.
