What do you when your very existence is threatened? What do you fight, when the sea itself rises up against you? The whole world is rooting for your failure, for your extermination. The only people fighting with you are the people who you hate the most.
The sea no longer belongs to pirates. An age of Piracy, an era of greatness, is coming to an end. The great rulers of the sea now only rule in bedtime stories and legends. Who is responsible for their downfall? It is none other than Lord Cutler Beckett, a man who rules the seven seas by using the heart of Davy Jones against the immortal himself. It is Beckett that the Pirates now rally against.
In the Caribbean, against all odds, the pirates are gathering for one final stand against this “Lord” and his fleet. Before they can decide their own fates though, the fate of another must be changed. The nine pirate Lords with their nine pieces of eight must agree on a King, and for this to take place they must all be there. The only problem? Jack Sparrow, pirate lord of the Caribbean Sea, is stuck in Davy Jones’s Locker and he failed to name a successor before his death. The Pirate Lords can not choose a king until all of them are there. Therefore, until the Rescue Party brings back “witty” Jack, piracy will continue to slowly fade from the face of this Earth.
They must continue to fight until Sparrow is brought back from the dead. They must continue to exist. Everyone knows, however, that nine pirate captains is eight too many. The world must wonder, when Jack returns from the Locker, how in God’s name will the pirate Lords decide on a ruler?
The only thing that the world is sure of is this, there is no doubt that pirates will fade from existence. The modern world is filling in the blank pieces of the map, therefore piracy is being pushed off the map. The era of pirates will end, but with this final battle it will be decided if it was for all or if it was for nothing. This battle will determine if the Age of Piracy will be remembered or forgotten.
